Our top priority has always been to deliver an unparalleled experience for you to safely relieve, relax, and recover. In the world we live in now, our resolve is stronger than ever. We’ve raised the bar to ensure we meet your needs in a focused and safe manner following government guidelines. When you return to Ballaura, you’ll notice these changes, including the following new policies and procedures to ensure you and our team’s health and safety. Since re-opening June 1, 2020, we haven’t had a single case of transmission.

BALLAURA WELLNESS SPA IS COMMITTED TO:

Strengthen cleaning procedures, including 15 minutes between each appointment to deep clean rooms and common areas.

Meeting and or exceeding Washington State and organizational guidelines on sanitation and hygiene. All disinfectants used in the spa are verified to ensure they meet the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

Staggered appointments to minimize social contact.

Staff training for our team focused on sanitation and hygiene standards.

Limit talking in massage sessions to decrease droplets that spread the virus.

OUR CLIENTS ARE TO COMMIT TO:

Reschedule your appointment if you are feeling ill, have been exposed to COVID-19, or traveled outside the US in the last two weeks. Thank you for helping us keep our community as safe as possible. Your safety is always our first priority.

No guests are allowed with you at your appointment, including children.

N

Please do not arrive more than 5-minutes early for your appointment to reduce in-spa traffic.  To maintain the social distancing protocols, we will be bringing clients straight back to the treatment room as you arrive.

A mask is required upon entering our building and must remain on covering your nose and mouth unless the spa staff asks for it to be removed. Please bring your own mask as we are trying to conserve our PPE supplies during this current shortage. If you need us to provide a mask for you, please let us know.

We ask you to apply hand sanitizer or wash your hands before your appointment as you arrive at the spa. We have hand sanitizer in a touchless dispenser at the entrance. They are also placed throughout the spa conveniently for your use.

Before your treatment, your therapist will take your temperature with a non-contact thermometer and show you your temperature (temperature of 100.4 or higher must reschedule their appointment with no late cancel fee or penalty).

All staff members are either vaccinated for COVID-19 or are required to receive a COVID-19 test weekly. Therapists are equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE), cleaning, and disinfectant tools. Our staff has been instructed to check their temperature prior to working and stay at home if they feel sick or have been exposed to COVID-19.
