Emma enjoys helping people heal and finding the right journey for them with their body. She understands that no one is “one size fits all.” While Emma genuinely enjoys the challenge of finding the root of any lingering pain in the body, she also believes that every massage should have a form of relaxation to it––even for deeper work––and helps her clients find that place to heal. She loves working with Swedish, myofascial release, PNF, passive and active stretching, trigger point, and relaxation techniques and can adjust her pressure based on her client's preference. Her main goal is to help others heal and to find peace by bringing awareness to their mind and body.

Favorite Ballaura Ritual

I like to hydrate myself prior to my massage and get a good night's sleep. I try to schedule my massage for the morning right after my hot shower to get my muscles all warmed up. I am a morning person, so I am much more relaxed at that time of day. I usually will book a 90 minute massage to get my troubled areas and still have time to relax. I like aromatherapy in the room for an added sense of calm, and I enjoy a hot towel under my neck for added relaxation. After my massage, I have a meditation session to become more intune with myself and to show gratitude to my mind and body. Then I keep movement going and stay loose with a nice walk or yoga session. And finally––hydrate hydrate hydrate!
