Licensed Massage Therapist

With a passion for healing and a deep understanding of the mind-body connection, Fern is a dedicated massage therapist focused on offering personalized treatments that promote relaxation and well-being. She graduated from the Alexander School of Natural Therapeutics in 2017 and holds advanced certifications in Zen Triggerpoint Anatomy®️ and Zen Bodytherapy®️. Fern’s journey into holistic healing began in 2014, with studies in yoga, energy work, and various healing modalities. Her academic background in psychology and education has further deepened her understanding of how trauma manifests in the body and informs her therapeutic approach. Fern offers a wide range of modalities, including Swedish/relaxation, Reiki, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, pregnancy massage, side-lying treatments, and certified intraoral massage. She also incorporates cupping, gua sha, and essential oils to enhance the healing experience. Currently, she is focused on blending relaxation spa treatments with elements of structural integration, and studying Thai massage, allowing for a truly holistic approach to bodywork. Her philosophy is simple: "It’s not how deep you go, it’s about how you go deep." – Ida Rolf. For Fern, the depth of healing is found not just in intensity but in the care, precision, and intention behind each treatment. Whether you're seeking relaxation, relief from tension, or a deeper reconnection with your body, Fern creates a healing space that honors your individual needs.

Before each massage, I take a mindful approach to ensure I'm physically and mentally prepared. I increase my hydration, take a hot shower to warm up my body and prepare my skin, and, if time allows, I practice yoga or go for a walk to get my circulation moving and clear my mind. I also reflect on my week to decide whether I need a calming relaxation massage to soothe my nervous system or deeper work to address specific tension. This helps me ensure each session aligns with my body’s current needs.
