Do you have a membership discount?

We wholeheartedly believe in self-care as a way of healing and overall wellness and encourage you to become a member. Yes, we offer a discount to our members. You can learn more about memberships here.

Do I need a referral to get my treatment covered by insurance?
Your insurance will require a referral from a doctor for all medical massage treatment, if you are filing for reimbursement. To learn more, visit.
How do I cancel my appointment?
You can call, text, or email us to cancel. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are ill or have tested positive for COVID-19, are waiting for test results, developing symptoms, or even considering canceling or rescheduling. This is VERY important––our team is paid for their time no matter what. We can help you determine if we can honor your appointment. We appreciate your respect for our time and commitment to providing you with exceptional service.

MASSAGE: Cancellations with less than 24-hours’ notice or no shows will be charged a minimum 50% and up to 100% of the service booked. Cancellations at least 24 hours in advance can be made free of charge.

COUPLES MASSAGE: Cancellations with less than 48-hours’ notice or no shows will be charged a minimum 50% per person and up to 100% of the service booked. Cancellations at least 48 hours in advance can be made free of charge.

INFRARED SAUNA: Cancellations at least 24 hours in advance can be made free of charge. We appreciate your respect for our team’s time and commitment to providing you with exceptional service.

Do you take private or major medical insurance?

We are not currently billing any private and major medical insurance plans. However, some plans allow you to pay out of pocket and will reimburse you for some or all of the cost. It is recommended you contact your insurance carrier about medical massage benefits and reimbursement options. Learn more here.

What's your COVID policy?
We are eager to welcome you to our spa, and we are committed to providing a safe environment for the good health of our clients and our employees. We follow the CDC, Washington State, and organizational guidelines to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Please do not come in to your massage if you suspect you have Covid or any other contagious illness and contact our front desk staff right away to reschedule your appointment.
Do you do Massage Cupping?
Yes, this is a free add-on to our custom massage services. You can go ahead and schedule your custom massage to reserve your appointment time and let your therapist know at your appointment that you would like to receive cupping.
Are you taking new clients?

We are absolutely taking new clients! If this is regarding medical massage through your insurance, we do not bill insurance companies directly. You can visit here to learn more about the self-billing reimbursement process.

Do I need to wear a mask?

The WA State Department of Health ended the mask mandate on 4/3/23. Masking preferences will be respected, but masks are not required.

What kind of insurance do you take?

Can I schedule an Infrared sauna online?
Unfortunately, we don’t currently allow booking the Infrared sauna online. We will be in touch with you right away during regular business hours to get you scheduled. Please call the spa if you would like to book a sauna session at (360) 539-7726.

What's your refund policy?

Since we are a service-based business, Ballaura Wellness Spa cannot offer refunds for massage services or gift cards.

You can buy a gift card and send it instantly. Your receiver will be so grateful. Order a gift card here.
Do you have parking?
We have free parking for your time at the spa. Our parking lot is located behind our building. You can access it off Eastside Street between Benjamin Moore Paint and Twinstar Credit Union.
